The Dist Rotaract Conference of R.I.Dist 3020 "YUVA" The Role Models of the Society has been hosted by R.C.Visakha Satellite City on 25 Jan 2009 @ vizag, Dist Govenor Rtn.M.V.Prasad Inagurated the Meet along with DRR Jeevan & CDRC Rtn.Bhagawan. We also had a speaker session Role Models Of the Society by Prof.K.Prasanna Kumar followed by Dist Affairs and DRR Election for the year 2010-2011. Post lunch we had Club presentations in which all the clubs presented their reports and activities in power point presentation. Mr.Dronamraju Srinivas MLA visakha-1 has been the chief guest for the valedictory function followed by culturals and dinner.

Rotaract Club Of Kakinada Hosted Regional meet SARMISTHA on 19th october 2008 at SMS Rotary Hall Kakinada. Rtn. Tikku Past Dist Governor inagurated this meet and later we had a Voice Of Clubs Followed by Dist Affairs. We also had a Training Session " Role of Rotaractors in the Community" by Past DRR.Sai Prakash. Post Lunch they Organised Culturals events, All the Rotaractors Paticipated very actively which was the highlet of the day. The host Club Distributed Prizes to the winners in the valoctory function, Rotaract Club of ICFAI was awareded for the best cultural presentation Rotaract Club of Kakinada was awareded for the highest registration, Rotaract Club of Visakha satellite was Awareded for the first Registration and Rotaract Club of St.Anns was Awareded for the Best Banner Display. Rotaract Club of Kakinada Released their club Bullitin Rota Waves and Dist Rotaract Organisation Released Dist News Letter REACH in this Regional meet.

Dist Seminar on New Generations




Rotary club of Eluru hosted Dist Seminar New generations on 31st August at Manyam Guest Line at Eluru. Rotarians and Rotaractors across the Dist Attended this seminar in large no. The Seminar Leader PDG. Raj Gopal Reddy Presided over the Seminar Followed by various sessions regarding New Generations..

Drr.Rtr.Jeevan, DRR.Elect Rtr.Rajesh,ZRR Zone 1 Rtr.Varma, ZRR Zone 3 Rtr.Ramesh and other Dist Rotaract Members, members from R.C.Visakha Satellite City, R.C.JNTU, R.C.Nava Jeevan, and R.C.Vijayawada, attended this Seminar.


Rotaract Orientation Program

Rotaract Club Visakha Satellite City Organized Orientation Seminar for new members in all the clubs in Visakhapatnam on 24th of August At Rotary blood Bank Conference Hall visakhapatnam. 50 New Rotaractors from all the Clubs in vizag Attended this Seminar. Rtr.Pradeep President of the Club Presided over the Meeting and later DRR and ZRR gave a brief idea about our Dist for the new Rotaractors. Later our CDRC Rtn.N.L.Bhagawan addressed the new Rotaractors and gave his presentation which was informative, impressive and interactive.

Rotary Club of Vijayawada Sree Durga has sponsored a New college based Club Rotaract Club of Sidhartha Vijayawada. our Dist. The Charter Presentation was held on 29th August at their College Premisis. Our Beloved Dist Rtn.M.V.Prasad Presented the Charter and Installed Rtr.Gurkirat Singh as President and Rtr.Hani Jain as Secretary and their Team of office bearers of Rotaract Club of Sidhartha Vijayawada.


Rotaract club Rotaract Club of G.V.P.College of engineering was installed on 22nd August 2008 At G.V.P.College of engineering. Rtn.Rajeswari President of the sponsored Club (Rotary Club of Waltair) presided over the meeting and CDRC Rtn.N.L.Bhawagan introduced the incoming leaders of the club. Rtn.M.V.Prasad Dist Governor was the installation officer for the function. Rtr.Swetha has installed as the President and Rtr.Sneha has installed as the Secretary of the Club. Rtr.Swetha explained about the future activities of the club in her acceptance speech. Mr.Soma Raju secretary of the college also attended the function and gave suggestions for their future projects.

DRR. Rtr.Jeevan Nath, CDRC. N.L.Bhagawan and Rotarians of Rotary Club of Waltair attended the function in large number.

BANNER SIGN PROGRAM OF R.C. GITAM

Rotaractors of GITAM conducted a Banner sign campaign on July 31st and 1st August as condolences to the Ahmadabad and Bangalore blast victims in the GITAM University campus. The Program was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the GITAM university Prof Gangadhar Rao and VUDA vice chairman V.N.Vishnu .
Rotarians and Rotaractors of other clubs in Visakhapatnam also attended the Program.


Friend Ship Day Celebrations

The Rotaractors of Visakha Satellite City Celebrated Friend Ship Day on August 3rd 2008 At Vision Nxt Visakhapatnam. All the Members of the Club actively participated in this celebrations, 5 new members attended this program and the started with the Regular meeting followed by fellowship, fellowship games and grand DJ.

.................Host Club President Rtr.D.Satish Varma & DRR. Rtr.Pydah Sri Ram presided over the meeting and the meet was inaugurated by Dr.(Mrs) V.Vijaya Sudha a scientist from NSTL at 10am. Rotaract Club Visakha Satellite City

Installation function of Rotaract Club Visakha Satellite City was held on 13th July 2008 along with the Parent Club Rotary Club Visakha Satellite City at Hotel Dolphin Visakhapatnam. CDRC Rtn.N.L.Bhagawan was the chief guest and installation officer of the function.

Rtr.D.Satish Varma Presided over the meeting and distributed momentous to the Best Board of Director and Best Member in his President year. Later The Installation officer CDRC Rtn.N.L.Bhagawan installed Rtr.P.N.Pradeep Kumar as President & Rtr.D.Chandra Prakash as Secretary & their team of office bearers for the R.I.Year 2008-09. 5 New members joined this club on this day.

July 22nd, 2007, Installation Function of Our Club:
Rtr.S.Cotton Babu is installed as new President of our club and Rtr.M.Viswanadh is installed as new Secretary. New team office bearers are also elected. Our Vice-Principal, Dr.B.Prabhakar has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. Our Faculty Advisor, K.V.S.G.Murali Krishna has kindly consented to be the Guest of Honour. Our parent club Rotarians attended our installation function. They spoke about the duties of board members and the importance of rotaract. On this occasion our club released a bulletin related to racial discrimination. We also released year plan and budget plan for the year 2007-08 which are enclosed along with this report. Our club also sponsored examination fee for a poor student who is studying in our college. Our club members decided to actively work in the team of rotaract.




July 29th, 2007, REFORM (District Assembly and Awards Function):
Our club members actively participated in the “REFORM”. We were taught about the duties and responsibilities of President and Secretary and various board members. Our club won the Best new President and Best new Secretary and Best new Institute based Club. Our club members actively participated in the cultural events.

August 15th, 2007, Independence Day celebrations and First Anniversary of our club:
Our club members actively participated in the Independence Day celebrations in our club. We attended the flag hoisting in our club. After that we went to Rotary Vocational centre and we celebrated our first anniversary with the trainees in vocational centre and students of nearby Government School. We distributed cakes, chocolates, biscuits to them. After that we went to Balasadanam and there we donated Charging Lights to them. We also distributed pens, pencils, erasers, cakes, chocolates, biscuits to them. We interacted with the students of Balasadanam and gave some suggestions to them about how to excel in their studies.

25th November 2007, Reminiscence ( Fellowship meet )
Our club bulletin is released on 25th November in the fellowship meet “Reminiscence” at Eluru which was hosted by Rotaract Club Of St.Therasa’s College For Women. Our club bulletin is named as “ Rotaspirit @ JNTU times”. Club bulletin is released by the DRR , Rtr.Sriram Pydah. A CD is also released in which the events of our club are presented. The cd is released by past drr, Rtr.Chalam. Our club president Rtr.S.Cotton Babu was installed as the District Special Aid to DRR (zone-2) by the past drr , Rtr.Chalam. Rtr.S.Cotton Babu got “BEST ACTIVE MALE ROTARACTOR” award in the fellowship meet “REMINISCENCE”.

December 14,15,16, 2007, Secretary visit to MDC
Our club secretary Rtr.M.Viswanadh swent for the mdc which was held in puri. He got to know about the new things.He interacted with the members of other clubs of our country as well as members of the other parts of the world. The tour was a successful one.

January 26th, 2008 , Republic Day Celebrations
Our club members have participated in our college flag hoisting programme. Our principal spoke about the importance of republic day celebrations. We also went to the flag hoisting programme in the rotary bridge school. We actively participated along with our Rotarians. Prizes were given to the school children for the competitions which were conducted earlier regarding the republic day. After that our members had a nice interaction with the school children.

IX DISTRICT SPORTS MEET (CHAK DE ROTARACT)

2nd February, 2008, District Sports Meet
Our club hosted the IX District Sports meet and named it as “CHAK DE ROTARACT”. We conducted different sports/games for the all the rotaractors of district 3020.More than 180 rotaractors have participated in this exciting and enthralling event. For the inauguration function, our college principal Dr.E.V.Prasad has kindly consented to be the chief guest. All the rotaractors have actively participated in this event. It was a big successful programme that we ever hosted. We received a very nice feedback for this programme. All the rotaractors who have participated in this programme were very much pleased with our hospitality and our work.

Date: 2nd February, 2008, District Cultural Meet
Our rotaractors actively participated in the district cultural meet which was hosted by Rotaract Club Kakinada Central. We also helped to our co-club rotaractors in organizing the programme in a grand way. M.L.A of Kakinada Shri Mutha Gopala Krishna has kindly consented to be the chief guest. It was a rocking programme. Each and every rotaractor had enjoyed a lot in this programme. It was successful programme.

3rd February, 2008 , District Conference
Our club rotaractors have attended the district conference in which educational sessions were arranged. District governor, MD of Reliance powers of Kakinada, our R.A.C. chairman, D.R.R, D.R.R elect were the main guests to this programme. In this programme our rotaractors were enlightened with the seminars. We were enriched with the information that we got through this educational sessions. In this programme prizes for the winners of the sport and cultural meet were given. Every one was appreciated who have worked hard for the sports, cultural meet and conference. After the conference we had a tour to Draksharamam temple in which every one enjoyed. The final report of the rotaractors is that the sports meet, cultural meet and conference was a big successful programme for the district.

10th February, 2008 :Pulse Polio Programme
Awareness programme for immunization of polio was carried out throughout Kakinada. The message of immunization program was spread to all over the city through announcements in autos, advertisements in TV, wall posters. Our rotaractors were on to the city with the message of immunization of polio. We also distributed whistles, caps to the children in pulse polio booths. This was the program which we have done along with the Rotarians.

27th February, 2008, Birthday Celebrations of Our President
Birthday of our club president was celebrated in the rotary bridge school. Cake cutting programme was done in the bridge school. Cakes, chocolates were distributed to the children of the bridge school. Interaction program with the school children was also conducted on this eve. Bridge school children have actively participated in the singing and dance. We had a very nice interaction with the school children and we also gave some suggestions how to excel in their studies.

In addition to all of these programmes our club participated in many events of our parent club, Rotary Club, Kakinada Central.

• Many Rotaractors of our club donated blood to the needy people.
• Our Club rotaractors used to celebrate festivals with the rotary bridge school children and interacted with them a lot.
• Our Club rotaractors also participated in Pulse Polio programmes, medical camps which were conducted in Kakinada.
